Edith is still appearing as Random Sim

According to the thread from 9 months ago, it says that Edith is fixed and won't appear as a random Sim. My game she is appearing as a random Sim still. I don't know if this happened that long ago or not, as I never pursued the Alice's Sorrow quest, but just see that Alice is currently a Young Adult male who isn't a ghost but floats around as one.

So a bit of an update, unsure if the previous bug with Edith was self fixable. I made a save and found the wrong Sim in the homeless Sims section and deleted them. Went back to the Neighborhood with the well in Ravenwood and the right Edith was roaming around. Will keep the old save as a back up just in case deleting the Sim causes an issue but think it works fine for me.

just to be sure I understand you correctly, you still had Edith as random Sim for a pre-fix save but not on a new one ? I don't think this one is one of the issues that fixes itself with a patch so if it was just the old pre-existing, then it sounds like the bug is fixed.
