Elders not Aging/Dying

Are elders the only Sims you have issues with and it it all of the Sims ?

Is it just the bar or does it give you less days if you hover over the age bar ?

The days are increasing. She was 1700 days when I came to this household and she is 1708 now. She had aged up last time I was at this household. I noticed it with a previous household right after the expansion pack - 2 elders and I kept waiting for them to die and they never did. I thought I was just wrong about how soon it would be, but now this one too. I have some homes with elder pets but I have not rotated to them yet.  

Active Sims do tend to live longer but your bar isn't even full which on normal life span it should be after so many days.

Do you have any where the bar is full at all ?

There is a current issue that resets aging when you travel that has all sorts of weird effects. Not sure what effect it would have on elders. It could affect rotational game play too.

Do you know how long this has been going on ?

Since Business and Hobbies EP. The other house with the elders were the family I was playing when I got that pack.  This is the first I have been to this house since the EP. This one would have aged up prior to the pack. I just checked some screenshots and the other elder couple aged up soon after the pack.  

I just went to the other household and his bar is almost full now. It was about 3/4 when I left them last time. His wife's bar is about 2/3 but she did age up after him. I could try to play them out of my rotation and see if he dies now.  I came back to check house I am currently playing thinking maybe switching houses would change her too but it didn't.  I did see the aging thing in the last house I played -- just thought I was crazy. I knew his birthday was to be on Christmas Day, but then all of a sudden the calendar had it about a week and half later. 

Yeah, do play some more and see if they die somewhere down the road.

I am going to stay where I am at and keep an eye on Leila's aging bar. I do think I should see it fill up soon but then I saw it go backwards and was concerned.  I have not made any trips with them since I have been back, but it is Sulani so there are not many places better in the summer time. 🙂 Thank you! 

I got the first message today that Leila's life is nearing its end. She has been an elder 16 days this visit and I am guessing about 5 days last visit, so about 21 days. The bar has still not filled in completely.  It was always pretty standard in my game that the first message would come about 10-12 days of being an elder, even for my active sims, so maybe the active trait wasn't having an effect before and now it is. Still seems long.  Maybe I will have to re-trait my elders and get rid of the active trait at that stage. 

Maybe it got fixed in yesterday's patch as they fixed the limb issue.
