I play on PC, not MAC, but I do have some recommendations. I hope they help.
- Before you make any more saves, see if you can recover a save that you made before you encountered these bugs. Here's a link to crinrict 's tutorial on recovering saves in case you don't know how it's done. Recover Backup Save Game
- Since you've identified some potential causes, stop going into CAS while those causes are present.
- Don't save your game if there's something wrong and you can't fix it. Exit without saving instead. It's better to lose a few hour's progress than the the entire save.
Thank you so much! I'm so sorry I haven't responded yet, I have family out at the moment. But, I will give this a shot once I'm able to. I have already exited without saving on the recent save (unfortunately lost two days of progress because I forget to even exit the game most days), and haven't gone into CAS when the issues are presented. I'm holding off on those two saves for a bit, so I should be a little more safe as long as I have no intentions of restarting that challenge for a third time haha!
