OK. Thanks guys. I tested the saves provided.
Unfortunately have a lot on my plate so I can't go look for causes rn. Leaving this up to EA.
I can duplicate the issue but my game often just crashed instead of the error.
For now I'd say, prevent going to community spaces that are either garden or maker space. If you have a SIm already stuck there, evict them and place them back in their house. That should make you able to load the game again.
I've passed on the saves to EA

I have a fix! Or something of one.
I managed to get rid of the error, but I did several things at once, so I'm not sure which it was. I uploaded the build from my "problem" lot and placed it from the gallery in a fresh game (renamed sims 4 folder and opened the game to make a new one). This didn't fix it, so I:
- Deleted all eco lifestyle objects (didn't fix it)
- reuced the number of items on my lot
- Deleted ALL craft objects (candle table, knitting basket, easle)After doing these, I no longer get the error!
I also saw an unrelated reddit post mentioning that since the pre adventure-awaits update, any crafted object can be "ruined" by water. I think this might indicate that there's a link between the new state for craftables and the errors, since some people have found that removing easles helps, and it commonly impacts makerspaces/community lots that have a lot of crafting related objects on them? I don't want to break my save AGAIN testing it out.

Same re game crash - I had my game crash as well when testing and every other time I got the error code. At least I know now it's a probable bug since others are getting the same thing.
