Had trouble getting the couple to perform vows at the arch. It says partner wasn’t near when they are both standing by the arch. Nothing was in the way. Had to restart game now for it to work?

Literally anytime I do a planned wedding event OR a base game wedding event my Sims (Engaged) will be in the same building, right next to eachother, by the arch and the arch will STILL say "engaged partner not nearby, invite to lot" like.... come on how many times are we fixing weddings? Im in the middle of starting the "Black Widow" challenge and I CANNOT even properly marry the fist Sim of the series. Relationship bar full, friendship bar high, but NOPE, too bad, No Wedding for Seance.

When my two engaged sons show up to their wedding day- they cannot get married because the engaged sim is supposedly not present- when they are. I have to send them home and bring them back and that doesn’t always work. They also never show up in the chosen outfit. And when you ask the guests to do anything, they do it for a second and then go about what they want to do- ruining the point of chosen actions for guests.
When I go to marry my sims. I’m by the wedding arch and it says the sims needs to be near by. Even tho they are right next to it. Won’t let me marry my sims

I will try this. I moved the other sim into the household and then tried the arch and it wasn't grayed out but when I clicked on the arch>exchange vows....it would start to play the wedding music for about five seconds and then the animation would just stop and the two participants and go off and do other things. But I will try and see if clicking on the sims themselves makes a diff.
The Island Living Wedding Arch is not allowing the get married interaction during a wedding with the couple standing next to it, or the gather for ceremony interaction.
Does my wedding stories actual work for anyone? Ever since this pack came out my sims can not get married because their engaged partner isn't around. Even though they are on the same lot. This happens with every arch, every time I try to get married. I have no mods installed.
