Hey, just wanted to report that the new eyelashes that have been applied as part of the base game update (thank you by the way!) are viewable when you're in first-person view. They remind me of a child drawing birds like a 'V' in the sky, with the sun in the corner of the paper.

Yeah unfortunately when EA fixed an issue with glasses after the eyelashes came out last year, all CC eyelases suddenly were broken, and were re-made with the new values of the EA eyelashes, which made them all visible in first person camera mode. My CC lashes from before that fix are not visible in first person cam, but they are not aligning correctly on the eyes. CC creators I contacted said that this is a bug on EA's side that they have to fix, and then all CC lashes will be able to function correctly as well and hide in first person cam
Waiting since a year for that fix, hope they still fix it 🤞

but most of my Sims are female and wearing lashes, and now it's not at all enjoyable anymore with the hanging eyelashes in the middle of the screen :(
Please EA remove them from first person cam view 🙏

I love to See the sim-world with the first-person-view, but the eyelashes are irritating !

If you’re in first person view and the sim is wearing the longer eyelashes they are seen in first person view.

It says I don't have access to it or it doesn't exist. Does anyone have the correct one? These eyelashes in first person view are so unfortunate.
I just wanted to add I also experience this; playing on Xbox S Series and also when I used to play on Xbox One. No Mods or CC (obviously on console, haha!)
I agree it does ruin the immersion a bit; especially when watching cooking or taking a stroll / bicycle ride through the neighbourhood.
I can mostly ignore it, but it does ruin "real-perspective" screenshots of builds and such and I do find it highly annoying.
It's like something from Five Night's at Freddy's trying to manifest in front of my sims very eyes!
