They shouldn’t fix animations but the eyelids. Fixing individual animations is just a bandaid to the root problem.
also I don’t have it fixed for most of my sims even through CAS. I will try to make multiples sims and compare all of them but it’s definitely still here for me.
I couldn’t care less about sleeping and animations being fixed if posing or animating will still cause the same issue. If the issue with eyelids was fixed they wouldn’t even had to patch animations anyway.
Yeah, I agree a main central fix on the eyelids themselves would be more than welcomed. I tested the CAS portion on a few Sims now. All were able to close their eyes for me. I tested it on some of my longtime Sims and new randomly generated sims. I do have mods though. I will try and test it out on more sims.
EDIT: Okay, it seems when I generate random sims it still works. However, when I modify a sim and pull down the eyelids in custom mode, then it doesn't work anymore.
However, before this latest update, it didn't matter which sim or modifying the eyes or not, the eyeslids wouldn't close no matter what. So, it's an improvement, but there is still much work to be done. At least their giving this bug some attention.
