Eyes/Eyelids Issues (Patch 1.110.265/2.01)

I wanted to buy the new expansion so much. Everything about it looks so awesome. I launched TS4 today after the update to get my sims to kiss. Of course, their eyes don't close. It was saddening. I can't continue on with Sim story like this. Despite how much I wanna purchase the new expansion, I just feel there is no point because I won't be able to play the game anyways.

It really is a disappointing because before the eye bug issues, I used to get so excited whenever a new expansion was announced, and on release day, I was even more excited. Now, it's just flat out saddening. All these awesome ideas and features, and they're all as good as nothing with these eye bug issues still present in the game. Sadly, I just cannot spend the money on any more content for TS4 whole these eye bug issues remain in the game. Instead, I decided that I'm just gonna spend the money on some RPG Maker MZ plugins because at least I'll be able to use them in my game project.

I tell you though. I would have much rather spent the money on the new Sims expansion and continue with my Sim story. Really think about this EA and Maxis. You are eliminating storytellers by not getting these eye bugs fixed. This also includes the lighter eyelashes with preset eyes (most likely a transparency issue). Also, the thing is that The Sims 4 is pretty much designed for storytelling. That's it's main feature. Please put a priority on fixing these eye bug issues.
