I have updated my game, the hot fix of March 18th, and my game still doesn't launch with cc installed. I still get the message "Failed to launch game" when cc is installed.

even now after the fix update my game still wont open with custom content installed MOST of the time it opens randomly but most of the time it wont open at all. and this is only when i have custom content, with script mods only it opens fine but with cc it doesnt
angelsimz20 I'm moving you into the thread for this issue. You can wait for an EA-side fix, or try this set of steps. I don't know yet if it works for everybody, and I don't know yet if it stays working, but it has seen at least some good results so far if followed exactly:
1. Rename the user folder - the one Mods is inside of. I do something like "THE SIMS 4 OLD FOLDER".
2. Start the game and exit to make a new user folder.
3. When copying mods/CC from the old Mods folder to the new Mods folder, don't copy/move folders. Make new Mods subfolders and copy only files.A lot of people have done this. It still doesn’t work for some of us
Can you tell us if an EA fix is even in the works?
