Failed to launch error when using CC

This is the same thing that happened to me yesterday, and it's still happening after this hot fix. If I try to put anything in my mods folder the game won't launch.

I have the same issue. Do we know if they've even started working on solving it? ughhhhhh

EA_Solaire​ as you can see, this issue is certainly not solved. For the past hour I was not able to get past the failure message, then when I did just now, the screen is just black with the white text. Everyone is still getting the various different issues they experienced last night or worse.

I had a feeling things still wouldn't be working today, but I wanted to check anyway. Started the game normally with mods disabled after the new update, tried enabling and restarting the game, and it immediately stopped working. Black screen on log-in, main menu interface stays on the game screen when I enter the word, etc. Force-quit the game, removed all mods again, and of course, it worked immediately. 

It doesn't seem like anything has changed. I don't understand why they won't just remove the update until it works. Just preserve the saved information of everyone who has played on the new update so far so they can pick it back up when the update is actually ready.

Same! I have tested with just CC, NO script mods and it would not launch.

I'm having the exact same issue with the Failed To Launch Game error.  I've been sorting through all my mods doing the 50/50 method, and sometimes the game will start up, but then even with those same mods that seemed to work before, the game will randomly go back to not being able to start up at all and giving the same error message.   Neither CC nor Gameplay mods seem to work at this point.

I dread updates every single time they come out, I didn't think they could get much worse for  players who use mods/CC especially. Well, I certainly was proven wrong! I do not understand how things go so wrong EVERY time and it isn't just limited to mod/CC players, although it is worse for them. I don't know a single other game that has this severe of issues for every "patch/fix". So frustrating! I wish they would do what you suggested, too.

unsure if my other comment got deleted, but you're not the only one experiencing this issue for sure. EA should be embarrassed, honestly. no matter what i try, this game wont launch at all. glad i'm not alone, at least.

This issue is still ongoing. If I remove my mods, the game will load. If I keep them in I get an error message from EA stating the game failed to launch.
