I have updated my game, the hot fix of March 18th, and my game still doesn't launch with cc installed. I still get the message "Failed to launch game" when cc is installed.
Ideas
ATTENTION: if your game still doesn't launch after the March 18th hotfix, try to launch your game only with cc in your mods folder. My game didn't work even after the hotfix at first, but when I removed gameplay mods and only left my cc installed, the game launched.
That pop for me too i just press ok and press play again and it worked for me and i still have all my mods and ccs in my folder
I can't believe this worked for me as well. Thanks for posting. I probably wouldn't have tried this.

That did not work for me. I Actually removed about 80% of CC content but have MCCC and UI extension in the mod folder and I could open the game.... but that means I am literally missing 80% of hair and clothes so my sims are still bold and without clothes..
this doesn't work for me!
for me it’s been the exact opposite, all of my mods work perfectly, and when i add cc it says failed to launch
