I have updated my game, the hot fix of March 18th, and my game still doesn't launch with cc installed. I still get the message "Failed to launch game" when cc is installed.
Ideas
Hair and clothing might not be compatible anymore.
If I put each CC hair creator into their own subfolder, the game launches with no problem unlike when they are all in one folder together, then it causes an error. The same thing might be happening with clothing as well. You might need to sort everything as a temporary fix.
That's strange, because I have everything organized into separate subfolders, by each creator's name. And obviously, the clothes and hair are in their own separate folders and subfolders. But the game still won't launch.

I reorganized everything into subfolders based on the comments, but it still won’t run. I feel so frustrated after spending nearly two hours on this for nothing.

glad this worked for you, but I'd rather be tortured by the CIA for two days then spend time trying to do this. EA needs to sort out their game, not me!
Completely understandable, I have around 9 000 CC only in my clothing folder lol.
