Failed to launch error/Fully Black Screen when using CC

So i basically was trying to set up the sims on my new laptop, and out of nowhere my app updates, then when i tried going back into my game i kept receiving a message saying there's an error on EA end that is causing the game to basically not open. If i remove the CC it opens, but i shouldn't have to take out 25,000 files just to play the game. The update literally broke the game. Almost like y'all released marketplace and broke our CC on purpose or something so we're forced to use it. I've been simming since way before 2014, and within the last year the sims has been so exhausting to deal with. I hope you guys are learning from these social experiments y'all call updates, ...
