Failed to launch error/Fully Black Screen when using CC

Listen, this is an EA issue.

I have taken 40 GB worth of mods/cc out and tested it piece by piece, package by package. There is literally no rhyme or reason that I can discern where start up fails or is successful - because it changes. Sometimes the same package will load successfully and other times the game won't even open - no change done besides deleting the thumbcache in-between running the game.

I can't even give you a list of problematic files, because it changes each time. Adding an AH00B hairstyle? Crashes the game. Delete the thumbcache and try again with no changes? It loads fine. And then it crashes again when I try a third time with just getting rid of the thumb cache.

I've verified the game files on steam. I've restarted my computer. I've deleted the resource.cfg.

The game is unplayable. Even without mods I am occasionally not even able to load the game - the process aborts itself and doesn't even try to load the loading screen.
