I have updated my game, the hot fix of March 18th, and my game still doesn't launch with cc installed. I still get the message "Failed to launch game" when cc is installed.
Ideas
My game is still refusing to load despite doing the 50/50 and combing through my CC for over 12 hours. Each time trying to launch the game fails and seemingly a different .Package file is the culprit despite having launched fine previously. The more files seems to be more of a chance for this roulette issue to pop up.
lillyhtepug1 Please try this set of steps:
- rename your user folder (the one Mods is inside of). I usually also drag it to my desktop.
- start the game and exit to create a new user folder
- Copy CC files over but don't copy the folders. Instead, make new folders manually.
Just tried this as i have a very organised Mods Folder and no it doesn't work but i will say it take less attempts to get in the less cc/build items i have in game. Once i managed to put all my mods in to the new mods folder, one by one, and creating folders within rather than copy/paste as instructed, it took 4 attempts before it finally launched. ☹️
