I have updated my game, the hot fix of March 18th, and my game still doesn't launch with cc installed. I still get the message "Failed to launch game" when cc is installed.
Ideas
I don't get a “failed” window, but usually when I add new CC or mods, the game doesn't start right away—I usually end up back in the EA Launcher. Sometimes I have to click “Play” 5 or 6 times before it starts, and then everything runs normally, except that my Sims don't have hair in the preview, even though they do in-game.
Nymaeh This is really helpful info! Could you please provide your user folder and include this info with the DM? (See the top post for instructions.) This is the first I've seen someone who gets it working some of the time and doesn't see everything having loaded right after that. Please also provide info about your computer specs and storage.
