I have updated my game, the hot fix of March 18th, and my game still doesn't launch with cc installed. I still get the message "Failed to launch game" when cc is installed.
Ideas
DreamSupreme1001 Try this, please. I don't know yet if it works for everyone or long term, but it seems to work for most people so far:
- rename the user folder (the one Mods is in); I usually also drag it to my desktop to keep things less confusable
- start the game and exit, to make a new user folder
- copy mod/CC files to the new folder, but not folders -- instead, manually make new folders in Mods
I will give that a try. I’ve tried just about everything else 😭
