I have updated my game, the hot fix of March 18th, and my game still doesn't launch with cc installed. I still get the message "Failed to launch game" when cc is installed.
Ideas
I created a new user folder as recommended. When I put Cas CC in it, the game wouldn't start and I got an error message. I've now sorted everything: Tattoos, Hair Accessories, Stuff, Jewelry, Default, Non-Default, Presents, Barts, Makeup. I just tested it three times and Sims started. Clothes and hair work for me. Maybe this will help others.
However, it's still very buggy. I still occasionally get an error message about a Lastcrash file. If I delete that file from the folder, Sims starts. It usually takes two or three tries before it starts. I've also tried removing it from different CC creators, but it's always the same. The problem is as described at the beginning.
