AI gave me a fix and it worked. Delete the mods folder and the stuff like the cache, accountdb, like if you had LE's and deleted everthing. Delete resource cfg. Then go to EA APP Manage> View Properties> in the Advanced Launch Options type -dxn. This forces directx 9. AI says the problem is with DX 11. I did it and it worked. I can play my game with my cc now. Oh and repair your game.
ChatGPT told me that I should merge my CC files. That would make sense if I knew it was a problem with the volume of CC that I have. I am not sure that the problem is that cut and dry, so I'm not willing to try that yet. I avoid merged files.
But, question for others with heavy CC...do you have many of your files merged? I have seen people successfully loading with 50-60GB of CC. Is there an actual limit of the number of files trying to load or with the size of the files? I don't know. My backup Mods folder is 155 GB, stored off on another drive awaiting a fix or a solution.

Why are you asking ChatGPT for advice?? Merging your cc files is BAD. This isn’t an amount of CC as the issue— it’s how the game reads .package files because of the new market place. This is on EA’s end and they need to either roll the update back or FIX it.
