Failed to launch error/Fully Black Screen when using CC

I have updated my game, the hot fix of March 18th, and my game still doesn't launch with cc installed. I still get the message "Failed to launch game" when cc is installed.

Hi all,

We're currently investigating into this error and working towards a fix. We're treating this as urgent and will be sharing updates as we receive them. In the meantime, some Simmers have seen success with the following steps:

Rename your user folder where your Mods folder is located. You can also drag it to your desktop
Launch the game and exit to create a new user folder
Copy your CC files over but don't copy the folders. Instead, make new folders manually
