I have updated my game, the hot fix of March 18th, and my game still doesn't launch with cc installed. I still get the message "Failed to launch game" when cc is installed.

Found a solution that works for me personally. Completely turned off my internet on my computer and it booted up just fine. What a coincidence. (sarcasm noted). So yea... The implication that they don't want us to access anything other than what they can make money off of is palpable. We need someone to make a mod that allows us to keep playing it offline before they remedy that too by making completely unplayable without the internet.
I thought I'd try this and had very little hope because everything hasn't worked consistently and I have been trying to not buy into the conspiracies. But it worked. Immediately. I actually don't have the words to describe the way EA and the Sims team has failed all of the community by playing into these corrupt money grabbing tactics.
