I have updated my game, the hot fix of March 18th, and my game still doesn't launch with cc installed. I still get the message "Failed to launch game" when cc is installed.
Ideas
I had to restart my computer, and now the tricks I've used to get the game to start doesn't work anymore! Deleting cache and resource.cfg does nothing! I can't fricken play the game at all! 😭
Please fix the game!
Update: it finally loaded after deleting cache and attempting to launch for the 5th time. Absolutely ridiculous!
AineOfMay same. I magically was able to get it to start last night by deleting the cache in the EA app, and now that doesn't even work anymore! I've deleted my sims 4 folder and let the game generate a new one, I've repaired my game, deleted the resource.cfg file and cleared my cache and none of that works. I think at this point, I have no choice but to wait on their hotfix.
