Failed to launch error/Fully Black Screen when using CC

The possible problem is how the game registers cc now. The devs probably did not do due diligence and create a coding flag to separate paid cc from non paid cc and so now with the game thinking cc is a paid thing because of the marketplace the game does not know how to process the large amounts of cc that people already had installed and just refuses to launch. It is not an US problem it is a THEM problem. I even tried the new mod to completely remove the marketplace found here  and the game launched once. however for science I closed out of the game and tried to launch again only to be met with the same launch issue. EA recently got bought out by someone and ever since that trade deal the quality of care for the sims community has drastically dipped into milking us for as much money as they can to recoup their debt. Either they fix this issue with a swiftness or start going into debt further by handing us all refunds for all the packs we paid for and can not use because we can not play the game. Let's not forget the emotional trauma of some simmers who use the sims as a type of therapy to combat loneliness by being invested in multi generational legacy saves. If they wanted to make us all leave and go play their competitor games they should have just made an announcement saying so instead of ruining a game that has brought generations of simmers together.
