Failed to launch error/Fully Black Screen when using CC

Tried the EA_Solaire recommendation about moving the mods folder, creating new folders,... 

Moved one folder of cc in.   Loaded.

Moved second folder of cc in.  Failed to load.

Done until someone at EA figures out how to fix this.   Or better yet, roll the game back to before March 17th when it worked for almost all users.

Same problem! I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Deleted my mods as well.

1. So I ran the game without my mods folder, and it worked.
2.  Then I tested each mod/cc item one by one to find the ones that were impacting the game's launch. I launched the game to ensure everything worked. 
3.  The game launched fine with no issues. However, 2 minutes later, without making any changes to the mods folder, the game failed to launch. 

I am starting to believe this isn't a CC/mod issue, but an issue with the latest update not working with mods entirely. I pinky promise that I double-checked my entire mods folder, so after cleaning everything out, the game should have launched, but it did not. 

I sort my cc/mods by creator not usually more than folder deep so when I add it back in I am not always sure it's just CC or mods, which is why I am unsure if it's both in my case. Last night (not long after my post) I removed a bunch of CC/mods and got my folder down to 23.2GB and tried to launch with mods and CC that had allowed me to launch the game previously. I still got the failed to launch error, I didn't count how many times as I saw reports of people who kept trying and got on eventually, then my game actually launched and I was able to play it but not with my whole folder only 23.2GB of its original contents. I haven't tried to load up yet this morning, but I will try what you have suggested and see if I can load and get the game to launch with everything or if I continue to have issues.

same! it worked earlier, i tried just now and the game wont load, beyond frustrating! 

Since this update, I have noticed that my game is constantly failing when I put Lumpino/MCCC/Sentate/Basemental, even with the newest version, so I know it's not them. It seems to be linked to EA. I have tried every method by scanning my computer and hard reboot. I don't seem to have that problem when I remove those mods, but even with cosmetic CC, I am still going through this. I really need this fixed. I am losing my mind. It's been 2 days since the hot fix, which didn't really seem to fix anything. 

My game will open and show the first two loading screens, but then when the Home Screen is supposed to appear, it’s just a black screen with a mouse. It still plays the music, but the screen is blank.

Same. For me, it goes in sometimes and then I would press it again and I would get the error message. Done the 50/50 method, waiting for the modders so 🤞🏽this gets fixed

I just updated and it’s ruined everything — my game won’t launch at all. It immediately closes. Beyond irritated.
