Failed to Launch with CC installed

Did all the instructions up to step 4 but still encountering error below

Do you still need EA folders to investigate? 

To reiterate.  My game loads with mods (just the ones confirmed updated or fine), The error happens with CC.  doesn't matter what or how many.  I can also load some times and then error for 3 or 4 times and then it loads again (Without changing anything)  

lilyblnkns91​  You'll need to upload your Mods folder to a third-party filesharing site (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) and post the link here.  If you use Google Drive, make sure "anyone with the link" can view it.

Since installing the update, I am unable to access the game properly due to problems related to Custom Content (CC).

Before the update, everything was working fine. However, now the game either fails to load, crashes during startup, or does not allow me to enter at all when Custom Content is enabled. I have already tried basic troubleshooting steps such as repairing the game, clearing cache files, and updating or removing some CC, but the issue persists.

This situation is very frustrating, as I have invested a significant amount of time and money into the game and its additional content. I would appreciate it if you could investigate this issue and provide guidance or a fix as soon as possible.

I turned off all my mods, did the 50/50 process until the game launched. The next time I tried to play it failed to launch again. The game is broken, not the mods. There wasn't another update between the last time I played,  and I didn't install anything else. 

So, I got the game working, but after a few hours and trying to play again, the game failed to launch again.

Thank you so much for compiling this. Unfortunatley none of these have worked for me and I'm fairly certain its no individual as not a single mod will work on its own in my folder. I hope The Simst team finds a fix soon.

I guess I'm done I guess... Won't be trying anymore it's too frustrating. Hopefully they fix it, or if it even can be fixed. Unfortunately, it seems the higher you are over 60gb of cc the higher the chance of load failure. 60gb or below it will load pretty consistently for me anyway. It's still inconsistent just not as bad  at or under 61to 65gb... Doesn't help that the more cc you have the longer it takes to launch. So the higher chance it fails. Managed to get it to work with most of my cc up to like 100gb(usually 188gb) for a little while, but it fails like every other time. Then all the sudden it won't work anymore, and may be memory issue. It get's progressively worse after that till it doesn't play at all. Think it also helps to make sure all cc is only in a folder with no subfolders. They must have messed up the way the game reads mods some how. It doesn't help that it starts eating away a ram the more you try, and run it. So just remember to occasionally restart to dump the memory. Delete your cache files. Just to start from a good base. Hope someone figures out, but I'm done with this tomfoolery for the foreseeable future...

Would it help for all of us to upvote this bug report?  It's as close to anything I've seen to address this and nobody has upvoted it (I just did).

Script mods and CC still not working after patch | EA Forums - 13269133

My script mods DO work, it's the CC that is preventing the game from loading.

I'm also having this problem; the 50/50 method is not working to catch broken mods. This is purely cc, not script mods. Batches that I've previously cleared will break the game again when I return/combine them.
