Failed to launch error/Fully Black Screen when using CC

I did everything and my game is still crashing

i keep checking this post to make sure im not the only one still having this issue

updated it, Deleted and reinstalled

this is a text file i get after i activated a CC file in Sim 4 Mod Manager. When i go back and disable it my game starts and don't get the failure to start pop up. I hope this helps!

I still can't launch my game with Hair and Clothing CC being the only thing that prevents it from launching. This is insane, there has been no hotfix that has worked for me yet and i feel like im going insane wasting my day off only wanting to enjoy some gameplay and i can't load into due to the marketplace thinking i am pirating its content? PLEASE FIX THIS EA!

i had this issue too. just restart your computer. it was the only way i found to exit. its a problem with outdated mods since the marketplace update (it was for me at least)

I got my Sims 4 to work-  I initially moved my Mods folder to my desktop and resaved my Sims game w/o them. I went to CurseForge and with my installed Mods I Selected All, then Reinstalled them. I can now play Sims w/o it crashing. Takeaway- It took 30-45 min to reinstall my mods/cc, I have over 1000.

Hi  I had the issue of the screen turning black.  For me - I upated  MC Command Centre and Weerbesu's UI Cheat.  For me it was Weerbesu's mod that was causing the black screen.  If you have any UI mods - make sure they have the latest hot fix patch - as they - as far as I can tell are causing the black screen.

i have mods and cc in my game try taking out all the folders even the ones manually added it worked for me i guys it was the folders im still adding back and its gonna take a while bc i have a lot of folders but its worth it bc i haven't been able to play since march 17th the marketplace update
