Failed to launch error/Fully Black Screen when using CC

Alright EA, it's Monday, Pumpernickel. I think we'd all like to know your explanation and solution for this. What are you doing to address this? Your customers have spent the last many days tediously troubleshooting your game for you. How do you answer for this? We are waiting. 

I have not been able to play my BLeeping game since the stupid update!!!! Looks like I am going to have to start my forever world save all over agin if I can ever get back into my game. EA Sucks!

I was playing fine...Closed out my game...came back home to an update and a failed to launch screen. that was 2 days ago....Guess we're all waiting for a fix lol

honestly the game won't even open for me. all we can do is wait, i suppose. this SUCKS

I'll continue to monitor this in the morning. Maybe there's a fix for this and the mods. For now, I have to go. My great-uncle who I barely knew just died and my second cousin had a stroke. I need to support my mom and the rest of my family who were closer to them both.

I updated my game a few days ago and now getting the failed error

this update was the worst birthday gift ever (18th). forced me to update the EA app, then the sims 4. i never wanted that + now my game doesn't work. won't open. i've danced with this game for years around these updates, this is beyond me. i just wanna play my game. 

please fix this. 

I’ve started my game up on my iPad and all my cc has appeared again after deleting and redownloading the game ❣️

I'm having the same issue, my old tray files are totally glitched even with no mods added.  Luckily, I can load and so forth, but they are showing signs of corruption..
