Failed to launch error/Fully Black Screen when using CC

the game isn't working at all, i've done everything, removed mods, opened game, created new mods folder, closed, put mods into new mods folder --- still not launching. Apparently they are releasing a hot fix for this sometime this week.. it's been 5 days they need to start hiring play testers to test the game updates before they release them to the public cause this isn't the first time that an update has caused issues but this time is SO bad.

So any updates on this? Are we getting the hotfix for the hotfix anytime soon?

Almost 1200 comments and NO update? It's a whole new week. No updates over the weekend? Given the state of the game the team should have been working overtime all weekend instead of posting collabs no one asked. So disappointing if this isn't fixed or updated today I think they need to give us free packs and remove this horrendous marketplace that no one asked for

At this point if it doesn't get fixed, I think EA needs to work with their customers to fix each individual gameplay for everyone and give us free packs for the inconvenience.

Since EA is taking longer to fix the issue, and the bug seems to appear randomly, I've been using PERSISTENCE as method over the past few days: Start the game normally -> if it crashes, delete the lastcrash file and restart. Repeat this until the game starts. Sometimes it works on the second try, sometimes after a few more. So far, all mods and custom content have loaded correctly. I play on PC using the EA app – maybe this will work for you too, until EA releases a solution.

It’s been almost a week….🤦‍♀️🙄😒 (crickets) on a fix or resolution. It’s Monday morning, there needs to be an update of some kind here!

I have been offline but EA updates the app itself thus the sims 4 with it. I do play with CC i have the game since the start, and now i cannot even open the game. I repaired it, nothing helps

It's been five days with my game still not launching. I have been able to play the sims when I go offline and now that does not work. I am so fed up, can the sims team just fix the game
