Failed to launch error/Fully Black Screen when using CC

I hate ea and everyone who works here. I don’t know how but you guys always seem to only know how to mess things up.

Still seem to be having an issue with mods and CC. If I have mods in the folder the game won’t even launch (no error message just opens the game then closes itself after about 30s without the game window ever popping up) which is fine I can wait for the mods to catch up with the new updates so I’ve just removed them for the time being. For some reason none of my CC will show up even though it’s checked off in my settings. 

Currently in the process of repairing my game after removing my mods folder. Will place them back after the repair and hope that gets the job done!

OMG You don't know how glad I am to find another person with this exact issue! I've been testing all of my mods/cc since the March 17 patch and still no answers as to what could be causing it. I thought it was something in my CAS folder but now I don't know because of all of the inconsistencies with launching. I honestly wish they didn't even add the marketplace or at least added an option to use older versions of the game, like many other game devs do.

I think I would be really decent for EA to at least give us the option to roll back this update so we can continue playing our games with cc that had no issue running before the update. It doesn’t see fair that this update causes such drastic inability to play the game with cc that we cannot resolve in a reasonable time on our own.

this is exactly my issue! I am going crazy trying to figure out how they will launch and then suddenly won't launch when they all are tested to work. Some kind of conflict or deeper game error I can't figure out. Hoping for a fix very soon...

Sul Sul, is anyone else still having issues with there CC?? i updated my game with the newer update that was supposed to fix everything AND i uninstalled my game and redownloaded it, i was able to get onto the sims like that but once i put my CC back into my folder i got this error code when i tried to launch it. i know it takes time for CC creators to update there stuff but i should still be able to launch sims and play.......EA please fix the problem you created.
