Failed to launch error/Fully Black Screen when using CC

For me its the BBB mod but others have said other script mods and some cc is causing issues, im boycotting and then ditching entirely if it isnt fixed by sims team personally

Why did I update?  I thought it was all fixed.  Can open  the game without my mods, and can load a few, but then it begins to give me this same error.  I can't play.  Why did I update?

It is indeed CC, for me Caio, Arethabae, Madlen and many other creators are not working and my game won't launch at all if I have those.

After march 18th update, I didn’t even have the one they fixed to add the marketplace- my game won’t even open with cc. Just cc. I took all mods out, still crashes. I just want my game to work, not some stupid marketplace. 

I'm having a nearly-identical issue. If (1) I load the game with mods, it fails. (2) If I take my mods folder out it loads, (3) When I put my mods folder back in, 10% of the time it opens and loads

tried deleting resource.cfg and went offline and it worked for me yall give it a go!

Yeah it fixed nothing. It's not a mod issue, it loads like 10% of the time even with mods in, other times it fails. Other player are saying it's failing even with NO mods installed. Thx for nothing!

Having the same issue. All my mods work but only half of my cc loads, the rest causes this error. We need a proper fix immediately. This is such a turn off for lovers of the franchise
