Failed to launch error/Fully Black Screen when using CC

I transferred all of my files into new folders as they suggested, and it worked earlier. I just tried to go back into my game, and it is giving the error again. sigh.

I am also still getting the failure to launch error. I have done a complete redo of my Sims folder by renaming it and launching the game and slowly replacing my old folders

I can't believe this worked for me as well. Thanks for posting. I probably wouldn't have tried this.

me too, it works without cc then if i add them back it’s says this

I was happy with auto updates off and playing offline the last couple of days, then today the EA app forced me to update, which updated the Sims. Now it won't open with mods or cc. I guess I'll wait for EA to make another update & see if that helps. 

I have the same problem. I deleted all my mods and ran it again and this time it loaded then I tried reinstalled them it loaded but I was stuck in the map unable to play my sims. I tried restarting but then got the same Failed to launch error. I've tried everything but nothing seems to work. 

where can i find that? :)

Thank God someone managed to crack this little piece of **bleep** that Market Place is... you guys don't even know how to make the game work. 

soooo, when are we getting a new patch to fix all the issue or when are you planning to roll back the update so we can go back to whatever we had prior to March 17th??
