I just purchase the For Rent Expansion Pack and im already having issues with it. I can’t seem to change the rent my tenants pay me, it just hovers over it but doesn’t let me click to change the amount. I am so disappointed, i was looking forward but now i just want my money back.

The official bug report for this is on Answers HQ if you want to go there and add comments or press the "Me Too" button. It's on the bug fix laundry list which was released recently, so a fix for this issue could be coming as soon as next week (Tuesday 23 July).
