[FR] Inactive Units Don't Get Hidden

Product: The Sims 4
Platform: PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.112.519.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play in a residential rental and look at neighbouring units
What happens when the bug occurs? The inactive units do not get covered up with walls and ceilings like they do in City Living/Eco Lifestyle apartments
What do you expect to see? I expect For Rent apartments to be like apartments from Eco and City Living and hide inactive units properly with walls and ceilings
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

This is a very obstructive issue that not only ruins the hours spent on decorating/building your unit, but also as a neurodivergent person the entire play area becomes extremely overwhelming which is very not fun to experience.
I know the ceilings/walls were a huge feature devs worked on, as told by SimGuruGrant in a now deleted article from 2016 on the challenging development of apartments.
Please change this to be better

Edit By Crinrict: Added Tag to Title. Please continue to add the same pack tags as on AHQ.

  • Hey, what does declined mean? As in the team refuses to look at it? :(

Declined as several meanings but yes, basically it's not considered a bug but feedback in this case.

Best if you post this in the feedback forum instead.
