If I am on a lot with, let's say, three units, and my sim who owns the lot is in unit one, and I have the other two units rented, they will come into my unit, and I will have the door locked so only my sim can use it.

I am experiencing something similar. As the landlord, living on the same lot as my 3 rental units and tenants, the tenants seem to just live in each others rentals, and walk into the landlords home. As if they just had a conversation and then “stuck around”, but it happens every day even though the landlord doesn’t greet them or speak to them. Suddenly I have a tenant sleeping on the couch and another playing the computer. I made sure the units were properly marked, and that there was no neighborhood plan such as the annoying “free for all” kind of plan where they just take eachothers stuff 😂
Im having a similar issue. The other tenants don't enter uninvited but random sims come into the building and enter the rental units to use the computer and do laundry as if the whole building is a shared space.
