Freelance Crafter: Average rating keeps decreasing

Bug Report – Freelance Crafter Career: Average rating keeps decreasing despite successful gigs
In the Freelance Crafter (Fabrication) career from The Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle, my Sim's performance average keeps decreasing over time, despite completing every gig successfully and on time.

What I have checked and ruled out:
• I never cancel or abandon gigs once accepted.
• Every gig is completed with a result of "Excellent" or "Very Good".
• My Sim is always in a good mood, often "Inspired" or "Focused", before fabricating items.
• I do not use any mods or cheats that alter careers or performance.
• My Sim does have traits like Recycling Fan, Freegan, and Maker, but these don’t appear to directly interfere with the gig results.
• The bug seems to affect only the average performance rating — everything else works as expected.

This issue persists even across different households and saves. It seems like the average rating calculation is bugged or not updating correctly after successful gigs.

Expected Behavior: Successful gigs — especially with high-quality results and on-time delivery — should maintain or improve the freelancer's average rating.
I kindly ask the team to look into this and provide a fix for the bug. Thank you in advance!

  • To be sure, you have no mods/cc at all or just no that alter careers ?

If you do have any mods/cc, please remove them and test without.

    • Also what platform are you playing on ?
    • Does it slowly decrease or does it go up and then is suddenly at average again ?

    So i guess it's a bug?
Is there a way to report this to EA, or will there be an update soon to fix it?
