Frozen game/menu after ad

I've seen a couple other people with this problem but none of the solutions are working- when I opened the game, I get a pop up. When I close it, the screen still acts as if there's a pop-up on screen, all dimmed. I've tried verifying my game files, forcing it to open in windowed mode, updating all my mods, pressing escape, opening and closing the game, but nothing is working and I'm not sure what else to do.
