I followed the "solution" but this has not fixed my problem. I end up in a dark UI screen that I can't do anything in so I am forced to restart MULTIPLE times because the Sims wants to shove 5 million ads and pop-ups down my throat instead of letting me just enjoy the packs I have already purchased. It's infuriating. Sometimes, if the pop-up has a button (such as check it out in the store or whatever), I can click the button, it will redirect me, and I can go back to the home screen from there. But sometimes, the button does absolutely nothing. I have to restart 3-4 times each time I want to play and it makes me not want to play it.
