I've had the issue for months. The game opens, I get to a full screen ad, click to close it and get a greyed out main menu which I cannot control-I've not checked if watching the damned ad would prevent the issue, but IT SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BE THE CASE.
Having the option about showing CC at the start on/off has not fixed this for me. The only option I have is to open the Task Manager and force the game to close.
Then, I have repaired the game and tried to start it again, and the issue still happens several times. What has changed this SOMETIMES is to restart the EA app.
This is a serious problem because the time I have for playing is limited and I want to be confident to start my game and be able to actually play. Sometimes when the issue happens, I have spent more time attempting to start the game than playing it. As things stand, I start the game and HOPE that I will be able to do so, but there is no certainty of that.
