I play on mac with a save file of 4 young adults and a cat living in a penthouse in san myshuno enrolled in 4 classes each at ubrite. They are in their 2nd term, and starting on the 2nd-3rd day of the term, my game crashes . I have mods and cc, but this started happening after I cleared out and updated my mod file. I had a single sim in another save attend university living in on campus housing, but never did it crash during university (before and after as well, that save is a legacy save and has never crashed in live mode).
I can't go an in game hour without the game crashing, usually when queuing to go to class while doing something else. However, my game has crashed before while my sims were in class, at a library in other worlds than san myshuno or britechester, and just performing regular actions.
Is this because of the number of sims attending university, number of classes, the fact they are all in different majors, living off-campus, having a pet, owning every pack and kit, using mods with all of the above, or the sims 4's poor optimization, especially for mac players.
