I am having a very similar issue. I have tried multiple different things to eliminate other possibilities but every time I try to delete a wall in build mode the game freezes and I can't do anything ...
Ideas
My game started doing this 4 days ago. I assume a fix will come as part of the Quality of Life roadmap? I was going to buy a load of DLC to go with the new EP for my birthday in a couple of weeks but there's no point if my game is unplayable.
Edited to add: I'm playing on PC, only have EA DLC. The only thing I can think that changed was that I installed the free holiday decor items from the EA app the day that the problem started.
