Game freezes/crash when building/deleting wall

My game keeps freezing when I try to modify a half-wall by either changing the height or trying to delete it. This has happened at least 5 times.

Has there been a resolution? I am currently encountering this issue and it's making it impossible to play my game. I disabled my mods, removed the mods folder, cleared the cache, ran a diagnostic on my computer, repaired the game and it's not resolving. 

The bug occurs when I am playing in build mode, attempting to add a room. The money does not get subtracted from the household amount and the room doesn't actually get built. I can move the screen around but the entire game is essentially frozen. If I try to save, it freezes on that screen. 

This is a completely residential lot, 64x64 as it is my generational house that I was building. It is a large home with various components. 

I experienced a glitch three times in a row after restarting my computer each time. If you try to delete a gate tile more than one at a time, the game will glitch, and I am unable to click on anything else. It will not allow me to save. The save loading screen will spin for 15+ minutes. I waited roughly 15 minutes twice, before forcing my computer o restart to get out of the game. However, if you delete the gate one by one, game continues normally.

I am having the same issue. I have a house with a wall that I try and close and the game will freeze and the scratch folder in saves will start to fill up. It goes on and on until I use task manager and force close Sims.

Same here! I noticed it usually happens after I place a wall. I can put objects down and move them around but once I add walls, suddenly I can't place or move anything and it won't even let me save. I just spent an hour rearranging my house and now I have to do it all over again because I wanted to put a new wall in 😠

I'm on PC and I don't play with mods or cc.

I was trying to make changes to a build I downloaded from the gallery. Placing and moving objects worked just fine until I put a wall down. Suddenly, I can't place or move anything. When attempting to save, the game froze until I had to force it to close. I tried to troubleshoot it, but after confirming that it only happened after placing walls, trying to exit the game has now frozen my entire computer. I can't even get the task master window to show up over the white screen of death. 

I'll note that I downloaded the new patch right before this happened. I was having no issues before. 

Game keeps crashing in build mode. Similar to another report, building will be going fine then changes won't take affect - e.g. place a wall and it disappears, delete a wall and it stays. After this point I'm not even able to exit build/buy mode. Then when I try to save game and exit, the game crashes. Has only been happening since the latest update. 

The same thing is happening to me. looks like a lot of people have had this issue for months, when will this be resolved?

Since the new update, every time I place a wall the game freaks out. Anyone else having this specific problem?

We all are. With or without mods.
Start raising your voice to Ea about the option to opt out of updates. Im done with this bs.
We are forced the updates and that isn't ok.
