Game freezes/crash when building/deleting wall

I was about to finish a house i was building. then i changed my mind and wanted to turn a room into a veranda. after deleting the walls and windows, i can't put anymore walls or windows or anything. i press f1, the game cannot be 'unpaused'. i thought at first its a problematic mod--it not. i tried removing the mod and opening the game--result is still the same. the game sort of freezes. i was building on heavy mods/cc lol

to solve it, what i did was i saved the unfinished house into my library.

i then deleted the house while on build mode (without changing the terrain, just the house.) then i bought the same house i saved in the library. and it worked. i was able to delete the windows and remove the walls and continue building. 

(but i still dont know why it was freezing in the first place lol ). 

EA_CadeHave you guys looked at the files I sent? I sent the files almost a week ago and I haven't heard anything. This is a GAME BREAKING BUG, would be nice to know that EA takes game breaking bugs seriously.

EA_Cade​ So when does this gets fixed? The original post is 6 months old and alot of people still cant play because of this bug. Remember this is a GAME BREAKING BUG aka not possible to play the game, when this bug exist. You asked for file via Discord weeks ago and still no update - not even a "Hey guys this/these bugs are tough to kill, we are working on it, stay tuned"

More info regarding this bug after the latest update: Items (new and already owned) can be placed, deleted and moved around, undo/redo buttons acts as intended, as does ctrl + z/y. After building walls (either in residential or public) items and walls cannot be deleted, placed or moved, undo/redo doesn't work alongside ctrl + z/y. I tried closing the game by pressing the three small buttons - > exit game -> exit game (not saving) and both menus just went away, thinking the game needed time to register and shut down I waited. After 2 minutes I realized the game didn't register it and I re-closed the game, but still nothing happened. I needed to use task manager to shut the game down. How come a new update just breaks the game further??

I'm having the exact same issue and it is so frustrating. I didn't have the issue before the latest update. I can move things around in build mode as long as i don't touch anything to do with the walls. As soon as i try to edit a wall, the game "freezes". You can still click on stuff, you can even leave build mode, but everything is just stuck. Then, it won't let you save or even exit the game. 
Anxiously awaiting a response from EA for this to be patched or fixed!

So whenever I go to build mode and i want to make a room by placing walls, the 1st wall would place perfectly fine, but then when i go to place a second wall, the game freezes and I cant delete or edit anything, then the entire game just closes down.

I tried- repairing the game

uninstal and reinstall

taking out my mods

Anyone managed to have a work around?? Finally bought horse ranch and can’t even play it due to this. EA PLEASE

If i delete a wall, it seems to choose random ones everytime, the game freezes. But not in a normal way where nothing happens. I can still look around my build, go to live mode. But the sims have froze, every time i build a wall or place a object it dissapears. Everything freezes but it's not like my computer is doing it as you can still look around and press on things. If i press save to try and save my progress at least, the save icon just keeps going and never saves the game. 

Anytime I start building my game freezes and won't let me save. Specifically deleting/adding walls and the platform tool will trigger this.
