Game is unplayable

This has been going on for months. It worked for a little bit after fairies came out, then stopped. My sims will not interact with anything, and often get "stuck" with a task. The only way to "break them" is to reset object. When asked to interact with someone/something, often times they wont move, and just do the "action" from where they're standing. An icon will come up sometimes showing how they are feeling while doing it, but they never actually do it. When asked to interact with another sim, they just dance. No talking, just dancing. I've tried taking them to other lots, returning home. Resetting everyone. Resetting objects. new household saves. I deleted the game from my computer, and redownloaded everything. Waited for bug fixes to come out, nothing has helped. WHAT CAN I DO?!?!?! I refuse to buy anything else for this game until its fixed.
