The game stops working after I try to open the children's character menu. I can't go into build mode. I can't save. I can't interact with any of the menu buttons. The high school kids no longer show they are enrolled in school under career.
I am also having this exact issue.
Having the same problem any time I try to travel the game goes to a black screen and then freezes to where I have to force quit the game without saving and it happened three times the last time with no mods.
I have been also having issues. I wanted my sim to adopt a baby but she will no go into the rabbit hole and the animation just cancels. I can adopt pets somehow but not a child. Really annoying

This happens to me as well. I just bought and downloaded The Lovestruck pack, and now I cannot access CAS. I selected the empty property in the new city and "create a new household" and now my game just keeps loading and loading and loading.
It’s all over TikTok too ppl are freaking out I haven’t opened my game yet but I did update it I’m terrified.
Have similar problems (and I don't use mods and CC at all) option menu doesn't work at all, my child's simology profile is broken, icons like needs, relationship, skills etc mostly don't work, after clicking on build mod I can't go back to life nod again etc.

I have remained quiet for too long, I am issuing EA this WARNING! cease releasing UNTESTED patches and NEW GAME CONTENT, or I will cease buy any more stuff from EA period! I am former IT specialist and I have supported software development, and this is UNEXCEPTABLE! 24 hours and no hot fix for software your people broke!!! I Refuse to buy any more of you packs for sim 4 Because they bug out the game and make no fun to play! HEAD my word this MUST stop, or we are through! I am having the same issue and came here to see if anyone else was too. Nothing works after a short period of gameplay. I can’t save or do anything!
Thought I would come back to an update today but nothing. They really do not care about us smh.
