First I couldn't click on anything once I opened the child's simology panel, I couldn't scroll down on it which was the first thing I noticed was broken, then I couldn't open her inventory, switch to build mode of even save the game. After a restart the same thing happened so I restarted again and didn't go near her simology panel. However, I then was unable to get an adult sim to cook a cake, no options came up after clicking 'cook'. I tried to leave the world and go back in but it didn't work, and then the screen went black although the time was still ticking on. Please fix this ASAP as it's not playable! I have never played with mods or CC.

I updated my sims 4 on my PS4 on Tuesday. Ever since I can not use any of the features on the toolbar at the bottom of the screen, if I try to click them my entire game freezes & I have to force quit. I have no mods & cheats are not enabled.
As I was playing my game per usual, I went to click on the milestones after I click the button first of all the panel didn’t even want to pop up and then second of all when I went to exit out to restart the game it wasn’t letting me sign out so I had to completely restart my computer And it’s still bugging out
The same thing has been happening to me. I logged in yesterday and it forced me to update the game. I also realized that MCCC is not showing up, which made me delete and reinstall it but it only popped up on my sims. But the icons are all different, at first I thought it was a part of the new update but the more I tried to play the more my game would freeze. I couldn't even save it to exit it wouldn't let me so. had to force quit it. But today when I tried to play I had another update and it didn't help at all so its not just you.
Since the new Lovestruck pack came out I can’t add any holidays or replace any of the current holidays on the calendar. I tried getting rid of all my mods but it still won’t work.
Since the new expansion pack and update I cannot play the game, none of the panels work or the menu for saving, build mode also does not work and I can’t use cupids corner on the phone. I can’t open the calendar, or travel anywhere. The game is unplayable and really disappointing after spending money for a broken game

it's like every time their is an update, We as playing ran the risk of our game breaking, and it's not like we have a choice to update, speaking of
I have been playing Sims 4 for a while now except when this new update happened, and I am experiencing the same thing, except my game opens no problem but when I try to go into Create a Sim to start a brand new game, the screen goes to black, and won't go any farther,
Mins started working after i took all mods out. Put a few back in. And started a new game. My previous played household was giving me issues. Now I am fine

Hi, since the july 2024 update i have had the following issue (the recent patch did not fix it): whenever I play the game, I can click on every thing but my sims won't do annything. they will just keep standing moving a little in place. the task will not appear in the task bar, until i pause the time, then the task will appear. also the task appears when i click the 3 doted button. I also can't switch sims until i press pause or the 3 doted button.
Has anybody else had this problem? does anybody know how to fix it?
I have no mods instaled, i have tried repairing the game, i have deleted all my game files but after making a completely new file the same problem persisted after about 10 minutes.
also when i try to save and close the game, it saves but doesn't close, so i have to force shut down the program
