First I couldn't click on anything once I opened the child's simology panel, I couldn't scroll down on it which was the first thing I noticed was broken, then I couldn't open her inventory, switch to build mode of even save the game. After a restart the same thing happened so I restarted again and didn't go near her simology panel. However, I then was unable to get an adult sim to cook a cake, no options came up after clicking 'cook'. I tried to leave the world and go back in but it didn't work, and then the screen went black although the time was still ticking on. Please fix this ASAP as it's not playable! I have never played with mods or CC.

Still doesnt work after the update for the update, which should have fixed the issues. One of my saves doesnt have any problems with the simology panel, but all of the others are still broken. I am so sad about this and hope that my save isnt completely broken forever.... :(
My sims keep getting stuck. They can, however, walk around but then just stand still. When I click the bed they start to sleep wherever they are, same with sitting, cooking, using the laptop doesn't work either. Using their phone works...sometimes... so they can look for a job. But I'm not sure if they would go to work. Maybe if I'm not playing with the sim that has to go to work it would go because the game says they have to. I first thought it was my mods but after removing all of them I'm sure it's not a problem on my side.
When I open my game and want to "New Game," the screen will trun white, and I time it for thirty minutes, and nothing changes. And I did everything to fix it, but nothing.
i cant even create a new household or enter cas. it just leads me to a white loading screen for hours. I've noticed it only works once i turn cc and mods fully off, which i don't want to do. ive already updated all of my cc and mods and its been like this for 4 days already. please help!!
With the first bigger update, I was unable to save my game, build, or travel. I just updated again today, and when I tried to click on a pre-saved game I was playing, it gets stuck on the loading screen, so once again I'm unable to play!

The game is nearly unplayable at this point. Anythime I hop onto the sims after the update, I can only play for 10 or 20 minutes before my game completely freezes. My sims freeze, the time freezes, and I can't control any sims. The only thing moving is the plumbob above their heads. The game came out 9½ years ago, why are there so many bugs? None of my mods are doing this because they disabled them. It also won't allow me to save my game most of the time. Come on, EA.
It's the same thing for me my sims won't do any commands or take care of themselves or their children they stop in random places and just stand there. The game is completely unplayable I even had a resolution problem.
Downloaded the most recent update (7/26/24) and my game is STILL unplayable! I can't even open a household, it takes me back out to the world map. It is so frustrating! I keep hoping these updates will fix the game, but my game is actually worse than it was after the 7/23/24 update.
