First I couldn't click on anything once I opened the child's simology panel, I couldn't scroll down on it which was the first thing I noticed was broken, then I couldn't open her inventory, switch to build mode of even save the game. After a restart the same thing happened so I restarted again and didn't go near her simology panel. However, I then was unable to get an adult sim to cook a cake, no options came up after clicking 'cook'. I tried to leave the world and go back in but it didn't work, and then the screen went black although the time was still ticking on. Please fix this ASAP as it's not playable! I have never played with mods or CC.

My game broke after I did the update, better exceptions started to tell me that UI cheats was broken so I removed it and looked for update and I opened the game and it kept saying UI cheats even though I deleted it. Then it’s telling me it’s **bleep** so I deleted and same issue. I have no teens in my household but still cannot access anything or even open the game options menu, I have to force quit every time.
Is it still messed up
How do we know if EA will fix this? I just want to play the game. This is really frustrating
My UI isn’t working too. I’m very confused because I deleted it and still happened. It’s just the game and I am also worried about my save file being messed up because I tried to save in CAS
The games hasn't worked correctly since the patch, been kicked multiple times, game with freeze, black screen, or unable to save. Tried the manage games and repair, but nothing has solved the issue
I am having the exact same problem it is making the game unplayable, was this update even tested??!
I'm so frustrated and and have had about all I can stand of EA and their sloppy handling of The Sims. IS si this going to be a fixable issue, or are our games ruined forever?
Still an issue.. I thought for sure today it would be fixed but it seems not. I've tried everything to fix the game on my end but I think (judging on the amount of people having this problem) that this is not an issue on my end
Same thing is happening to me, I just get a white screen when I try to go into new game too.
I brought the new pack to see if it would fix it and it hasn't, so I'd save your money for now 🫣
