First I couldn't click on anything once I opened the child's simology panel, I couldn't scroll down on it which was the first thing I noticed was broken, then I couldn't open her inventory, switch to build mode of even save the game. After a restart the same thing happened so I restarted again and didn't go near her simology panel. However, I then was unable to get an adult sim to cook a cake, no options came up after clicking 'cook'. I tried to leave the world and go back in but it didn't work, and then the screen went black although the time was still ticking on. Please fix this ASAP as it's not playable! I have never played with mods or CC.

Same here, I can't open any menu anymore, not even the main menu to leave the game. It's just so annoying.
I read they are working on it, like really working on it. It's a bug and they are trying to fix it. It does feel like my CAS screen loading and loading and loading and never opening...😋
Experiencing the same issues as others have mentioned. just installed the new pack and it's still unplayable.
For me, while I'm in CAS, my Sims traits have completely disappeared. I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but that area is totally blank. I click the where they are supposed to be and all I get is the rotating feature.
Then, on the day the update happened, I just finished looking at a lot I downloaded from the gallery and when I left I got stuck for a half an hour with the loading screen. With the music still playing mind you! I had to force a shut down.
I just did a repair on my game, I'm about to test some thing right now. I'll be back if I find anymore issues.
I got an update from them today and installed it, but it's still not working

I'm having the exact same problem. I can't even exit the game. The only way I can get out of it is shutting my computer down.
I am SERIOUSLY over this. It's about time your customers file a class action law suit. You still charge FULL PRICE for Sims 3 and stopped keeping the game playable. This is complete BS! I have every expansion pack and it is HORRIBLE how every time a new one comes out, the game becomes unplayable. Furthermore, how sad is it you have to have our modders help you with making the game better. SMDH. I have played the Sims since it has come out and I am sick and tired of you charging insane prices for expansions and add ons that never work. YOU SUCK!
My whole UI is broken, the cell phone, calendar, and notebook, the simology panel, I can't click on aspirations tab or the career and Inventory tabs. and it's for every life stage. even adults.
Mine actually broke after this third update today. My sim keeps getting stuck. I have to force close and restart the whole thing. Frustrated. I never end up with issues! 😭
