First I couldn't click on anything once I opened the child's simology panel, I couldn't scroll down on it which was the first thing I noticed was broken, then I couldn't open her inventory, switch to build mode of even save the game. After a restart the same thing happened so I restarted again and didn't go near her simology panel. However, I then was unable to get an adult sim to cook a cake, no options came up after clicking 'cook'. I tried to leave the world and go back in but it didn't work, and then the screen went black although the time was still ticking on. Please fix this ASAP as it's not playable! I have never played with mods or CC.

Same thing happening to me. Was playing last night and the game was fine. Saw the update this morning then launched my game. Works for maybe 1 minute then crashes. Issues listed below:
- Simology panel for kid, glitching (character values going up and down)
- Cannot exit build mode to go back into live mode
- Cannot open the menu to save or quit
- hard shut down and relaunching the game > issues still persist
This is ridiculous and I hope no one gives Project money grab- I mean "Rene" a dime. They need to focus on fixing this game FIRST. Side note: Those of us who paid full price for base game deserve a refund. The game is hardly playable over the past 10 years its been out, and then there are ps2 games that still run as if they came out yesterday.
Fix this ASAP.
Since the last patch (that was supposed to fix a bunch of bugs…) the whole game is broken. I can’t save or exit, the teen/child panel is broken. I don’t even play with cc or mods. I really hope it will be fixed by tmrw, I preordered the new pack and it would suck if I wouldn’t even be able to play with it
I have the same issue luckily i backed up my saves and everything I don’t have mods or CC I’m on pc I go ito sims panel and it all messed up cat scroll down or save my game it gets stuck In Build mode

I had the same issue. At one point my whole screen was blank but I could still click on stuff and the options came up. I got so frustrated in the end I just turned it off
My game's broken can't click on anything but my needs and can't do my Sims homework or even call for service. My game just went black and now I can't even save or quit my game. Yay! Just spent 2 hours and now I lost everything
I am so mad right now. Just got the baby to bed sat down to play the game and it's unplayable. Are you freaking kidding me? I've spent thousands of dollars on this game. Thanks but no thanks
