First I couldn't click on anything once I opened the child's simology panel, I couldn't scroll down on it which was the first thing I noticed was broken, then I couldn't open her inventory, switch to build mode of even save the game. After a restart the same thing happened so I restarted again and didn't go near her simology panel. However, I then was unable to get an adult sim to cook a cake, no options came up after clicking 'cook'. I tried to leave the world and go back in but it didn't work, and then the screen went black although the time was still ticking on. Please fix this ASAP as it's not playable! I have never played with mods or CC.

I have the same problem. I can change worlds or access my inventory bar in my game and it says that my game is always loading.
So annoying! I didn’t want to buy the pack but if it’s the only thing that will fix it…ugh. Hopefully since it seems like it’s happening to a lot of people it will be handled quickly
oh yeah I kinda regret ordering at this point, and yeah there are a lot of complaints so hopefully we'll get some sort of response too
Exact same thing is also happening to me since the update, specifically for my household with my teenage sim. Can only open the needs panel, nothing else and cannot access anything in the top bar or save. Played a house earlier that has 2 young adults, a dog, and 3 horses and everything worked perfectly but is unplayable once switching to the household with the teen.
wow interesting! might have to go visit one of my single sims to test that out (if manage worlds opens lol)
okay update: things seem to be going smoothly so far although I've only been on there for a few minutes
My simology panel is completely bugged! I can't open any option in the simology panel. The emotion icons have disappeared and I can't switch between sims from the same family. I can still command actions but everything appears together and I can't understand anything.

Yeah it's a really weird issue. All of my houses so far with just adults work fine, and even one where they had only 1 child. However, every single house with a teen has the problem and even one of my houses where they have a child and a toddler, both of those offspring are broken too.
Same thing is happening to me too and i also dont have any mods or cheats used. please fix this. :((
